The shop itself is a treasure of used and rare books.
Also,Mockingbird Books is uncommonly well appointed. It is comfortable, well organized, clean, and appears to serve as a sort of literary community center as well.

Meade really cares, and you come to share his enthusiasm through his unpretentious look at the tell tale details, his unabashed awe for the grand, and the gritty pathos of his self discoveries. It's fun, and memorable. Great reading while dreaming about roaming, or out on the trail.
