Maybe a word or two for your eco friendly web visitors about the Estero Bluffs just North of Cayucos. A nice victory for locals in a long fight with developers. Many acres ecently purchased by the nature-loving residents of Cayucos and the Cayucos Land Conservancy (unfortunately it's managed by State Parks) BUT saved from the scourge of golf courses, hotel and resorts! Now, literally, a gateway of ocean bluffs and open space, some of the last in California, set aside from development. A great place to watch wildlife (otters, plovers, seals, etc. etc.) and NO DOGS PLEASE!
